Kumar began his career in the year 1991 with The film Saugandh and Next film was Khiladi. Akshaya was born in old delhi. His parents were named as Om Bhatia and Aruna Bhatia. He was born and brought up in Chandni Chowk and then later on moved to Mumbai. He completed his School from Don Bosco High school, Matunga. In the late 90s, He was dating actress Raveena Tandon but soon they got separated. Later on he married Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia’s daughter Twinkle Khanna on 17th January 2001. The actress Twinkle Khanna is Akshay Kumar’s Wife. She was born on 29th December, 1973. Her parents are named as Dimple Kapadia and Rajesh Khanna. She completed her schooling from New Era High School, Panchghani and The Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics. Later on she moved to Goldsmiths, University of London for her Master of Arts in the year 2024.

Akshay and Twinkle met each other for the first time during a photo session for Filmfare Magazine. They tied knots on 17th January 2001 and they have a son named Aarav and a daughter named Nitara.
